Work for Warriors Vermont is a free career assistance program dedicated to helping Vermont National Guard members, Reservists, Veterans, and their families achieve meaningful, sustainable employment. Our mission is to strengthen Vermont’s workforce by connecting mission-ready military talent with employers who value their skills, leadership, and experience.
Our Employment Specialists provide personalized, one-on-one support throughout the career journey. Services include resume development, job search assistance, interview preparation, career assessments, and referrals to employment opportunities and resources. Whether you are transitioning from military service, seeking career advancement, exploring a new field, or facing unemployment or underemployment, Work for Warriors Vermont is here to support you every step of the way.
Working alongside this effort is PRIME — the Partnered Recruiting Initiative for Military and Employers, a Vermont National Guard program that connects employers directly with qualified candidates. PRIME offers guaranteed interviews and access to internships and full-time opportunities, helping employers meet workforce needs while providing service members with clear pathways to employment.

I have 22 years of military service, including two years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army and 20 years with the Vermont National Guard. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to serving Vermont’s military-connected community and supporting those who continue to serve.
Now with Work for Warriors VT, I focus on helping service members and their families connect with meaningful employment opportunities. I am driven by a desire to give back to the community that shaped me and to support service members as they transition, grow, and build successful civilian careers.
